Media Relations Intern
In the summer of 2010, I interned at the National Aquarium, Baltimore as the Media Relations Intern. During
my time there, I organized multiple contact lists in online Public Relations software called Vocus PR Management Solutions, aided the Marine Animal Rescue Program’s release of three Kemps ridley sea turtles, directed media at two press conferences, wrote multiple public relations documents and participated in 30th anniversary meetings.

In the spring of 2011, I interned at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania as the Alumni Relations Intern. During my time there, I maintained SRU’s social media networks, updated the SRU alumni online community website, sent electronic alumni newsletters, wrote multiple public relations documents, updated alumni information in Raiser’s Edge Fundraising Software and designed various publications.
